It affected European thought, religion, independence, and culture. Woman became more acknowledged for their work and credibility for education. Ideology was transformed and absolutism was overthrown. Enlightenment enlightened people of their status and how to transform their wellbeing. Society in Europe as a whole changed and people began a new era of lifestyle.
