…be deemed a traitor but I personally think that he did the right thing by considering his morals and prioritizing it above his nations war schemes. A scientist should place his moral and ethical values in higher regard than his duty and obligation to aid his country during wartime because ultimately what it comes down to is the fact that preserving life is more important than a country's efforts to increase its arsenal of weapons.
