Shaping of American History

Slaves played an extremely active role in shaping the history of American slavery. Visualize that the entire Southern slave populace decided that they were sick of being dominated, and defied all of the slave holders and white men. What could the slave owners have done? …and moved on. If it were not for the black religion it is implausible that they would be so forgiving. It is so wonderful that the slaves had a chance to tell people how slavery really was. If it were not for the slaves accounts of what happened many people today might still be under the disillusionment that the slaves deserved what they got and were thankful to their masters for providing them with necessities.
