All the reasons supporting having a memorial day overweighs the drawbacks. The drawbacks can easily be eliminated if the process is done correctly. After all the anguish the Jewish people have been through, these events should be remembered to prevent another horrifying event. Jewish ancestors also deserve to be remembered as they died innocently in this tragedy.
