Philosophers have long debated over what justice is and how it should be applied. …have suffered. This is immoral because one should not do to others, what they would not like to be done unto them. Polemarchus' notion of 'eye for an eye' is in no way guided by any form of morality, rather influenced by need for satisfaction with revenge. Ultimately, if Polemarchus' take on justice were to be implemented, lack of society security, a reduction of morality and destruction of the goodness within society would then follow.
