It has been 30 long years on the force and time has flown by. Who would have thought I had what it took to become Chief of police? I worked hard everyday and I loved every second of it. …line everyday. Since the tragedy of September 11, 2001, we have found a new breed of heroes. These heroes do not dribble basketballs down the court or sing and dance on stage. These heroes risk their lives every day to protect and save lives. Police officers are the gravity that keeps the circle of life spinning. At the end of 30 years on the force, I can honestly say that I am proud to be a police officer.
