…be gained by stopping smoking. Ukrainian people have a higher percentage of CHD development because of the Chernobil catastrophe that took place in 1986. This lowered the immunity of the people in Ukraine, and therefore the CHD development is more rapid in their organisms. So the Ministries of health in Ukraine and all over the world should work towards reducing the numbers of smokers especially teenagers in order to avoid the development of Coronary Heart Disease.
