Over the past few decades, social security has transpired to be one the most debatable as well as one of the biggest federal programs. Even though the benefits derived from the program are well-liked by the recipients, there is still concern about the issue of retaining enough revenue to continue to ensure the benefits of the program in future generations. Any program that covers nearly everyone is bound to involve a great deal of money and to create many anomalies. Any program that has existed for such a long time is bound to show aspects of its age, but the benefits of a new program may also come at a very high cost, which I believe is unnecessary.
