…and he knew this. So he attacked them and exploited their stupidity. He made it a point to discover the root of the problem which he was in. First the older accusers who influenced so many after them, then of the people offended by the youth which Socrates inadvertently affected. All in all, Socrates stayed steadfast to his cause and never wavered, refusing to compromise the truth. That is what made his legacy last forever.
