…of China was in jeopardy, but the Strike Hard campaign became further reaching than Huaide made it to be. Clearly the campaign was used to rid China or political adversaries. The article is a good basis to explain why the CCP implemented the Strike Hard campaign, but does not in anyway explain the full force of the campaign would have on the Chinese people and the amount of political repression would come from the campaign.
