Johann Sebastian Bach was born in Eisenach, Germany on March 21, 1685. He is considered the greatest composer of the Baroque period. At the age of 10 he was orphaned and taken in by his brother. He left the position to tour again and returned to settle in Vienna in 1871. In 1874, Brahms gave up his position in Vienna to devote himself to composing. A large amount of Brahms compositions were mainly for the piano and followed the same tightly knitted classical style.
