…tried and convicted for the crime of murder. But there is a key element that most who are in favor of the death penalty forget, these prisoners are human and do have the right to be treated as such. Although I still believe in the death penalty, I also do believe that substituting a sentence of life without parole, we would meet society's need for punishment and should be considered more often in capital cases.
