Teenage Parenthood By Julz Matheney This essay deals with the hardships of teenage parenthood and statistics in the United States.
Teenage Parenthood There are many struggles involved with becoming a teenage parent. I have endured varying degrees of support and negativity from peers, and school staff. Simultaneously, I became a statistic. I was a typical teenager, I had many dreams, and high hopes of a bright future. This was all put on hold following the birth of my son between my sophomore and junior years of high school. Determined to beat all odds, I unselfishly
indicate that 13 percent of sons are most likely to end up in prison and 22 percent of daughters will become teen parents themselves. In conclusion, enduring teenage parenthood is a life-long task. Despite my obvious adult age in years, once I became a teenage parent I will always remain a teenage parent. I believe successfully raising my children is the greatest feat I could ever achieve.
