1) Tell Asmar Statuettes -dated around 2700-2600 B.C. and came from Sumerian architecture. These statuettes were from the Abu temple and these statuettes represented the goddesses. The tallest one was 30 inches high, which was the god of vegetation. After researching the detailed facts, I have realized that this took lots of effort, manpower, very monumental, and extremely important for the Assyrians, which took over Babylon at the time. In addition, it is the only monument left behind from the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, which marks an extremely famous landmark. Last but not least, after looking at the arch that the gate has, it reminds me of Roman architecture, which happens to fascinate me.
