Terrorism is a major problem facing our nation and when the media report terrorist actions they just enhance the problem to a larger scale. If the problems that the media cause are ever going to be solved, the media must decide whether to regulate themselves or deal with the consequences of government regulation; these are the only two choices the media currently have. Before more choices can become available, research must be done to discover effective solutions to the problems the media cause.
