…to remember, and this was right before the use of German unrestricted U-Boat warfare. This battle was the Battle of Jutland. Jutland was the name for the peninsula in northern Europe where the country of Denmark was located. This area of Europe would play relatively no other role throughout the entire war other than the fact that off it's shores, in the North Sea, the greatest naval battle of World War I would be fought.
