…the owner of such emotions for "hiding" them. It's also unfair and very ignorant to attempt to pretend that those feelings don't weigh into a partner's current emotional state. And that when evaluating a spouse or prospective spouse, one needs to accept the fact that not all skeletons will be brought out of the proverbial closet and that sometimes a nurturing stance needs to be taken when such emotions do surface. Gabriel ultimately understood that.
