…or Aunt Julia singing, who, by the way, also sounded very different in the film compared to how they described her in the short story. In conclusion, the film and the original short story were very, very different from each other even though they both revolved around the same idea. There was more subtle differences between Joyce's version of The Dead and Houston's version, but these differences listed here are the greatest ones by far.
