The Downfalls of Socialized Medicine

With the insanely high costs of prescription drugs and the 44 million Americans without health care, Americans have started to demand that the Government provide health care to them. The problem is clear and solutions have been laid out on the table. The only problem is that socialization of the medical industry is the only option getting publicity from the media and from the majority of politicians. …Americans should rely on it to fight through this problem as well. Increasing competition is the only way that Americans will be able to get quality health care. With a private health care industry thriving, taxes would not have to be lowered. Quality and options would still be open to the people and with the help of legislation by the Government, the less fortunate would finally be able to afford the health care they deserve.
