…to put so much meaning in the message, that people still now days find themselves in awe of how perfect he described the duality of human nature in one sentence. The overriding strengths of Socrates were his dependence on reason and that he did not seem to need certainty in his life, only virtue. The core to understanding human nature for Socrates rested in accepting that he and everybody else knew nothing (Apology 23-23b).
