The Industrial Revolution vs. the quality of life of the British citizens

Did the Industrial Revolution improve the quality of life for the British citizens? I believe that yes, the Industrial Revolution did in fact have a great improvement in the quality of life of the British citizens. …mostly on the feelings of nationalism. All these examples of aesthetical were the things people spent their money on and would enjoy to do in their leisure time. As stated above, I still believe that the Industrial Revolution modified the quality of life of the British citizens. It did in so many ways such as, the way they changed their life economically, socially as well as aesthetically. Which all definitely improved their ways of life.
