Each day thousands of children are exposed to pornographic images and video on the Internet and the number continues to rise. Almost 90 percent of children aged from eight to sixteen years old have been exposed to pornographic material, either intentionally or accidentally while playing games or doing homework. The Internet is a very valuable tool but it is clear that the world must implement steps to regulate the Internet, individual country's efforts are not enough. The web contains blatantly offensive content that is inappropriate for adults, not to mention the children who stumble upon it. With the governments of the world's co-operation, the world can be a much safer place.
