The Missouri and Ohio Rivers

Without a doubt, the Mississippi River is the most important river in the U.S. However, its tributaries are just as important. The Missouri and Ohio rivers are the largest tributaries of the Mississippi, and perhaps the most important. …carp, and perch. The Ohio River is having problems with mussels: Quadra, Zebra, and Flat-Floater mussels are over-running the river. The Missouri, on the other hand, doesn't contain too many mussels, so they don't pose a threat to the river's ecosystem. In conclusion, you can see why these two rivers are extremely important to our country. From environment to industry, both the Missouri and Ohio rivers are valuable resources, and I enjoyed learning about them.
