The Ohio Statehouse and its statues are architecture.

Outside on the Statehouse lawn, there is a statue bearing the inscription "These Are My Jewels" portraying a women, her arms outstretched over several great men from Ohio. Perhaps no woman better represented the archetype of the ideal Roman wife than Cornelia. Cornelia was the daughter of the hero Publius Scipio Africanus, who defeated Hannibal in the second Punic War. She was married to patrician cousin Tiberius Sempronius Gracchus and was mother to twelve children. …

…ick, one of which in the rotunda below the large dome represents various aspects of the United States coming together as a whole. Unfortunately for my grade, this architect knew much more about classical architecture than I. It is, however, fortunate for me that I have had the ability to study this art form over the past weeks, as now I can begin to appreciate what beauty the ancient designers had to offer the world.
