The Petrovs, under the assumed names of Sven and Maria Anna Allyson, stayed in several capital cities, until they moved to Melbourne. Their whereabouts were the subject of a D-notice for many years. Vladimir Petrov, after a short bout in a geriatric home, died in 1991, aged 84. Evdokia followed nearly a decade later, dying on July 19th 2002, aged 88.
