…at any time. There was much opposition to the Russian Revolution during the critical period, consolidation period and post revolutionary society. In order to be considered opposition groups did not necessarily have to actively oppose anything. The leaders during these times went to great lengths and spared no brutality to crush those who opposed the revolution. They justified their actions against these people and groups in various ways ranging from being saboteurs to being counter-revolutionaries.
