…historical significance and accuracy, as each writer was biased in his own way. Keversan, being a patriot lawyer, was biased for the cause, and Dickens proved to be biased against the cause. Although both give vivid accounts of the day that is celebrated throughout France, one must take into account the reasons for which each writer wrote their accounts as they did in order to obtain a full understanding of the storming of the Bastille.
