Considering the amount of music that I have heard in my life, which adds up to quite a lot, it is a little difficult to single out only one small piece of that very large pie which has had a larger affect on me than any other. Although I am very critical of what I hear, considering how much listening I do, there are still a lot of artists who I have the utmost respect …

…should be. Not only is it an honest expression of emotion, but also it is presented in such a way that it can go beyond what words alone can over portray. It is for this reason that the descriptions of Swans Are Dead I have chosen are kept so vague. It is my opinion that attempting to explain the finer details of such a pure form of expression would be to sell the album short.
