…I view him as property. The main difference between my dog and Data is the fact that Data can express his opinion where my dog cannot. Some may view Data as Star Fleet property because he is a machine. Whether they do or not, it cannot be determined by the Turing test. The Turing test is inaccurate in all cases due to the fact that a human is deeming who is intelligent. Humans make mistakes.
