The US Consumer Price Index (CPI) vs. the German CPI
The consumer price index is an economic statistic used to measure the price changes of one good or a group of goods from one year to the next, or from one month to the next. The group of items that is being measured normally consists of four hundred goods and services that a typical family of four would consume, which is referred to as the market basket. the CPI increase was under one point. I think this is a clear indication that there are better ways to regulate the US economy so that the value of our money does not deplete any further. Clearly, as seen from Germany, there are ways to eliminate or drastically stall the rate of inflation. Now the US needs to find the necessary means to create conditions that will not hurt our economy and cause higher inflation.
