The limitations, assumptions and consequences to a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

The defective gene that causes cystic fibrosis was discovered in 1989. Researchers are experimenting with correcting the defective gene. In 1993 a drug to thin mucus called Pulmozyme (dornase alfa) was introduced, and in 1997 an inhaled antibiotic (tobramycin) was approved. …cure for Cystic fibrosis are financial support and the understanding of the disorder. Foundations need large amounts of money to find a cure, as this process is not cheap. The government and people donating more money can overcome this. The understanding of the disorder is another limitation; researchers understand only enough to prevail the harmfulness of the symptoms, as they try to produce more medicines, they get closer to finding a cure for the disorder.
