Teddy Roosevelt was one of the greatest American Presidents. His achievements while in the Presidency are both numerous and very impressive. Teddy Roosevelt's exploits while in office were not centered on only one certain goal. For example, he designated 150 National Forests, the first 51 Federal Bird Reservations, 5 National Parks, the first 18 National Monuments, the first 4 National Game Preserves, and the first 21 Reclamation Projects, which altogether provided 230 million acres that were federally protected.
