…them, the things we hear offer only a bad impression. Often these things were true about them, but often times they are a misinterpretation of them. We shouldn't allow what we have heard about the bad ones prejudice us against all Indians because they are people in many ways similar to us and they probably always will be. Remember the Indians as they really were, not as our prejudices allow us to assume they were.
