This is an essay i wrote on animal testing and why it should be stopped.

Clamps lock the rabbit's head into place. Clips keep the eyelids open. A researcher releases a drop of oven cleaner into unblinking eyes, then records what happens to the eye over a period of time. The substance could cause the animal's eyelids to swell, it's eyes to bleed, and cause it to possibly become blind. Maybe it will just snap its neck trying to escape. …sprayed in one's eyes? Why waste such lives when simpler chemical tests can be performed through advanced technology and computers. Just put yourself in the rabbit's position when the clips are attached and the testing begins. "Each species has the right to express the natural behaviors of its kind ... All animals have the right to a natural life span without suffering, neglect or cruelty. Every animal has the right to a humane death."(Robinson p.4)
