Threats of Terror: Objectives, Options and Obstructions in Moral Education.

This article analyses the intellectual, religious, national and moral processes which a democratic society has had to confront in its day-to-day routines under the ever-present threat of terror. Terror and violence should not be defined according to abstract conceptions of morality, but comprehended in conjunction with actual behavior and deed. In spite of the fact that moral values and definitions of violence and terror vary depending on the cultural background of the respondents, every illuminated and civilized human being need to condemn such deeds universally and in one clear voice.
