Three Strike Law

Crime is viewed as one of the biggest problems in the United States of America. Americans fear for their safety. Their fear is often caused by dramatic media coverage of violent crimes. Even though, statistics show that violent crimes have been declining since 1991, more and more people are afraid of being victimized than ever before. …feel that if something doesn't change soon, we should expect another Los Angeles riot. But why does it take a social movement to change something that millions agree is wrong? Why did it take a civil war to figure out that slavery is wrong? And what is it going to take to change this three-strike law that leaves many wrong people in prison? I guess we are going to have to wait and find out.
