…the past times, everybody had the faith in Dalai and Panchen Lama and more than 80% of the locals were lamas. Every Tibetan family had the drawings of Dalai and Panchen which they read prayers everyday. When the important days came, people would go to the monastaries with kneeling and kowtowing every single step they took from their homes. It took days, weeks and even months for some people to arrive the monasteries at that time.
