To the moon and beyond

Since time began, man has looked to the heavens in awe. Its Creator remains a mystery, its purpose not evident, but its beauty beyond all measures. The early men of this world named these heavens, stars and some planets, that was as far as they could go. As time passed others grouped stars together and called these constellations, and yet still later in time men came forth and grouped planets and stars into galaxies. However, …

…planning are missions in the next decade that will have us flying through Mar's canyons and valleys, and eventually putting men on Mars. The question of if we will ever colonize Mars is a controversy, and we can not say if it is possible now, but in 10 years, we may have left our footsteps there as well. In my mind, there is no question of if it will happen, but only the question of when.
