In addition to this I realized that in a dynamic political ideology such as liberalism is difficult to define because it's goals are especially reactive to change. It is this reactive nature that provides liberalism with change. The constant endeavor to perfect liberty produces change that liberalism in turn reacts to. This interrelationship helps ensure liberalism's role in bringing about change in the future.
