United Nations operation in Cyprus (UNFICYP): Past and Future implications

Our known world has seen us human beings evolve from our most primal creatures into the people that have created society today. Since there is so many of us occupying this planet, Conflict with each other is bound to play a role in this epic human drama. Future operations of the UN might need detailed information to handle similar conflicts such as the Georgian south Ossesian conflict or others that might spring up in the future. UNFICYP brought to the table the ways and means of handling a situation that brought a degree of success. I think of it as a vaccine that can be used in other situations to grant to some level that degree of peace and stability.
