Unnecessary Cruelty

I know I wouldn't like to spend my life squeezed in a cage with other animals, never being able to feel the grass, run around and play outside, or go for a walk in the warmth of daylight. Now I'm not an animal and many people say that animals aren't like us but I believe that's not true. I believe that animals experience and feel pain, fear, anxiety, stress, depression, boredom, joy and happiness. And …

…opinion, isn't morally correct. But I believe that it can be stopped. Not only am I trying to have people open their eyes, but open their minds as well. I want this essay to encourage people to read a book, write a letter, join a group or even start their own. I hope that everyone knows, like me, that animals are innocent creatures and they don't deserve the horrible cruelties done to them every day.
