…he got sick from trying to destroy all Indians and other enemies and making trading empires. His crew did create their own Portuguese trading empire and destroyed most of the Africans and Muslims that lived on the eastern side of Africa. His remains of his body is still in Lisbon, Portugal. It is in the chapel where he prayed before he went to his first voyage to Calicut to trade spices and other precious items.
