Violence in Schools A large number of Australian schools have been taking actions to prevent violence in schools. In the last ten years in American schools there has been an increase in school shootings, where students have opened fire on their own classmates. …place to live. Will we become as bad a country to live in and what will our schools be like then. Only time will tell what path violence in Australian schools will follow. In the mean time we need to do the best we can to prevent it and I believe that a lot more can be done, however at this point in time the actions that we take are most curtail to the prevention.
