…not out of the blue. The United States and Harry S. Truman made the correct choice in dropping the Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima in 1945. They realized that it would save many American lives, and finally bring the Japanese to their knees. The Japanese did brought this explosive conclusion to the war upon themselves with their stubborn behavior throughout the U.S.'s island-hopping campaign in the Pacific and with their vicious attack on Pearl Harbor.
