…horrific tragedy that ignored humanity and disregarded the intent for world peace, World War II was predetermined and inevitable. This is evident in the proceedings of the Paris Peace Conference of 1919, and the failure of the League of Nations. While it can be argued that such a calamity may have been avoided, it is upon further examination of the interwar years that these arguments are shattered, as were the nations involved in the war itself.
