…bloodiest wars in history, a lot of good came out of it. Weapon technology was greatly improved; we would not be where we are today if it had not been for the Civil War. The greatest accomplishment of this war was the abolition of slavery. Slavery was a terrible thing that had to be stopped, and weapons made it happen. Without weapons and the Civil War, we may still have slavery in this country today.
