What is a witch hunt?

A witch hunt is the searching out and persecution of supposed witches. It can also mean the harassment of those with unpopular beliefs. I am not sure what causes a witch hunt to occur. …when isn't the reason they are bombing these places to send people the message that killing is wrong? All of this makes you wonder if free will is such a good thing. Is it good that Americans use others as scapegoats to fix their issues? Witch hunts will forever occur, nobody will ever be able to make them stop completely. We can only hope but still remember that everyone is subject to a witch hunt.
