If individuals don't think about these ideas and form their own integrated, consistent philosophy, they are left at the mercy of society, the media, politicians, religion and "intellectuals". To engage in philosophy, is to deliver your personal Emancipation Proclamation. The beginning of thought, is the end of mental slavery, and heralds true freedom.
