…is that everything has a spirit and there is a Great Spirit and a spirit world. The other main beliefs are only there because of that belief. If there were no spirits, there would be no power to harness through circles and nature, there would be no visions, the medicine man would not be very powerful at all and dances would have no significance whatsoever. So the belief in spirits is the most important belief.
