Where do we learn more?

Learning from others, whether their points of view we share or not, as is invariably advocated and exercised by all successful individuals, is the best way to learn. By this means, others' experiences and lessons can be learned; others' failures can be avoided; and others' advises can be heard. Those who are not prepared or even unwilling to learn from others are doomed to face failures and frustrations otherwise can be avoided. But people's attitudes …

…learning, which is the last thing we want to see. Thus a friendly atmosphere in which warm discussion and study rather than fierce debate take place is preferable. Only in this kind of atmosphere are we willing to learn something useful from others. The pre- condition of a friendly atmosphere is a good attitude to learning from others-- only by realizing the importance of learning from others do we really want to learn from others.
